Making it usable
Recommended severity
When the evidence on a finding already contradicts its grade, the page says so and offers a lower one.
Derived, never invented
The recommendation is built from what is already on the row: the triage verdict and its sentence, the engine's own confidence, the reachability verdict, whether anybody is exploiting it. There is no second opinion formed at display time.
A recommendation is not a decision
Nothing changes until an administrator accepts it, which is one click and lands in the audit log with their name on it. The engine's original grade stays visible beside the new one.
It usually says nothing
A recommendation on every finding is a recommendation on none. It returns nothing far more often than it returns something.
What it does not do
It will not soften a malicious package or a verified credential, whatever else is true about them.
Every feature page carries one of those. The comparison page scores the same ground against five products people pay for, including the rows that go against us.
